Logitech Wave Keyboard $22.94 After Rebate -- Make Your Desktop Ergonomic

Anyone who spends a lot of time in front of a computer knows that typing can get a little wearing on the wrists, hands and fingers. If you're looking for something that might make your computer tasks more convenient and less stressful, you might want to check out the Logitech Wave Keyboard. Right now, amazon.com has dropped the price from $49.99 down to $42.94. Plus there's a rebate of $20.00 valid for purchases by March 7th, making your final cost $22.94.

This keyboard has a very different design than the flat kind that comes with computers. Contoured, uniform-size keys cradle your fingers naturally while the curved keyboard promotes a more ergonomically correct hand position. One-touch controls give you direct access to many of the new features in Windows Vista, including Flip 3D, Zoom, Photo Gallery, and Gadgets. Programmable F-keys add instant access to favorite applications, games, folders, and Web pages. A cushioned palm rest encourages a relaxed position for typing.

If this seems like something that could make your work more comfortable, click the link below to check it out. Heck, you may want to click on it just to see the unusual design!

Fly from Florida to Colombia (the Country) for 16¢ ($18.16 for non-Fare Club Members) -- Book Today Only for Specific Dates in March

I don't know how many of my readers can take advantage of a special like this -- it's very particular in the origin, destination and dates, but until midnight tonight you can book a roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin, Colombia for as little as 16¢ if you're a member of Spirit Airline's $9 Fare Club. Even if you're not a member, you could get this deal for a roundtrip of $19.16.

Now, the dates you could do this are highly limited, but this is a legitimate offer -- one of the reasons I started this blog is being encouraged by friends to whom I told my story of getting 2¢ roundtrip airfares from Atlantic City to Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas.

The dates for travel under this fare (8¢ each direction for members, $9.08 for non-members) are:

Fort Lauderdale to Medellin: 3/7, 3/9, 3/10, 3/15, 3/17, 3/18
Medellin to Fort Lauderdale: 3/2, 3/4, 3/5, 3/6, 3/7, 3/19

So you could potentially fly down to Medellin on the 9th of March and return the 19th for 16¢! Or for $18.16, still a whopping bargain.

These fares obviously don't include airport and security fees, etc., so those get tacked onto the fares. But still, you've got to admit this is a heck of a bargain.

This sale ends tonight at midnight, but if you're thinking this could work (hey, just the chance to see Colombia for a few days as an adventure), I'd rush over there before the flights (particularly the return on the 19th) is sold out.

Air France Sale -- Europe from NY, Philly or Houston $149 Each Way, Plus Free Paris Stopovers

Air France has unveiled a fare sale with some noteworthy prices if you're interested in jetting off to Europe. They have destinations available departing from New York, Philadelphia or from Houston for $149.00 each way. Yes, that includes Houston!

Some of the $149.00 each-way fares include:
- from Houston to London or Amsterdam
- from Philadelphia to Frankfurt
- from New York to Brussels, Zurich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Milan, Rome, London, Nice, Barcelona, Madrid and more

But on top of the great fares, Air France is still including their free Paris stopovers, in either or both directions. That means that if you fly elsewhere than Paris, you can take your connecting flight several days later at no extra charge; it's like two vacations for the price of one!

Travel is valid for departures as late as May 15th. Tickets must be purchased by March 11, 2009, 11:59pm EDT, and require a 7-day advance purchase. A minimum Sunday night stay is required and a maximum one-month stay is permitted (so you could still be in Europe in early June if you make your departure near the end of the sale period). Airport and security fees and taxes are additional.

These are some nice prices for travel during Springtime, a wonderful time to see Europe. If you want to take advantage and search for dates, click sale fares to Europe with Air France. Fares starting at $149 each way from Houston, NY and Philadelphia. Sale ends 3/11/09

Kensington® Noise Canceling Headphones $12.99 After Rebate

Update February 26th -- the discount taken off the starting price is no longer in effect. So the price is $32.99 less the $20.00 mail-in rebate, making these headphones $12.99.

I've written a post about flying more comfortably in coach -- after all, if you can make a coach trip a bit more comfortable, you can save the money of upgrading to business class. Or at least feel you've gotten to enjoy a better trip, vacation etc. so you feel like your money was better spent.

One of the ways I suggested to fly more comfortably was to bring along some noise canceling headphones. I've used them on many trips and they really do make a difference. First, they tone down the loud drone of the plane to a mild hum. Second, they eliminate most sounds of crying babies and other noisy passengers. And thirdly, they let you enjoy the in-flight movie, music or whatever entertainment you want to hear to make the time pass more easily.

Unless you're a really frequent flyer, I don't think it's worth investing in the very high-end headphones that can cost in the $250-$300 range. There are a number of good alternatives that can be had for much less, particularly if you shop around.

Right now, Dell is selling Kensington® Noise Canceling Cable Binaural Headphones reduced from $32.99 to $28.04. You can apply coupon code 2HR3NH394F2JM6 (valid till March 1st) and get free shipping on the order. And for purchases made by February 28th, there's a $20.00 mail-in rebate to bring the cost down to $8.04.

Kensington® Noise Canceling Headphones have a built-in microprocessor that analyzes background noises and creates an inverse sound wave to cancel the offending sound. Engines, fans, snoring, and other low frequency annoyances virtually disappear — leaving the traveler free to work, sleep, or listen to music more easily.

To take a look and see if these headphones would make a good travel accessory, click this link. Remember, the rebate period expires Sunday the 28th.

Air France to Europe Including Free Stopovers in Paris -- From $250 Roundtrip to Ireland

Looking for a little European getaway without breaking the bank? Air France has a fare sale going on which includes a nice little extra: not only a good deal to your destination city, but free stopovers in Paris are included. You can stay over in Paris in either direction of your trip at no extra charge, so it's like twice the European adventure for the same low cost. In fact, you could even choose to stop over in Paris in both directions if that appealed to you.

The best deals seem to be for travel to Ireland, with one way fares from New York at $125 and from Chicago at $147. But there are lots of other departure and destination cities available, like Los Angeles to Barcelona at $230 each way.

The special fares are valid for departures between March 1st and 31st, with a required Sunday night stay and a maximum stay of one month (so your trip could extend into April... April in Paris...). Tickets must be purchased by February 26th, and a 7-day advance purchase is required.

The fare prices don't include the government security/airport fees.

If you have wanted to see a bit of Europe while the dollar is doing better than it had been last year, this may be a great chance.

To search for fares from your departure city to your dream destination (and Paris too), click the link below.

The 99 Most Essential Mozart Masterpieces MP3 Download for $3.00

Adding music to your MP3 collection can get a bit expensive, but one way to save is to take advantage of great album deals or compilations. A few weeks back, amazon.com had a great download deal for the 99 Most Essential Beethoven Masterpieces. Well, they're back right now with an offer for the same type of compilation, this time for the works of Mozart.

You can really enhance your classical music collection with this one. It's 99 tracks of some of the greatest music ever written. Some pieces are so familiar but you'll hear many greats that you might not have heard as often (or ever, depending on how much classical music you listen to).

When you consider the costs of getting these tracks individually, you are saving a ton -- now, most people probably wouldn't be downloading all 99, but even if you wanted just to get twenty of these tracks, you are saving almost $15.00.

I don't know how long amazon will keep the price at the $3.00 level, so if this appeals to you, I'd download them soon. Just click the link below for more information.

I've been able to maintain my security software for several years at no cost by timing my purchases with free-after-rebate offers. Most of these involve some part of the rebate requiring that you currently use some anti-virus or similar software from either that same company or a competitor. But right now, you can get McAfee Total Protection 2009 at Office Depot free after rebate without even needing to show any existing/competitor product.

Continuous and automatic updates for one year ensure that your security stays up to date.

And then during the year, you can check again for a time that McAfee has another updated version available free-after-rebate to update the product and get a new year of protection.

7-Night Cruise in Hawaii with Roundtrip Airfare from Los Angeles from $1099

Cruses are a wonderful way to enjoy a vacation, and when you can be spending your days in port at one of the world's most exotic destinations, that's all the better. Right now, Online Vacation Center is offering a 7-night Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise in the Hawaiian Islands for as little as $1,099. That price includes roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, so the cruise portion is less than $100 a day.

Also, if you book by February 28th, they will add in a $75 credit per stateroom to spend on board.

The lowest price is for an inside cabin, but you can upgrade to oceanview for just $100 more and to balcony for just $200 more than oceanview. Sailings are between March 21st and May 30th, roundtrip from Honolulu aboard the Pride of America. The lowest prices are for the sailings of April 25th, May 2nd, May 9th and May 23rd.

The ship departs Honolulu, spends two days in Maui (Kahului), a day in Hilo, one in Kona, and two in Kauai before returning to Honolulu. This 7-night itinerary spends nearly 100 hours in port, allowing you more time to see and do the islands your way. And, with Norwegian's Freestyle Cruising concept, you can enjoy a casual relaxed experience onboard with no formal nights and a choice of restaurants for dinner.

The airfare price included is from Los Angeles, but they have airfares available from other cities as well.

These prices are per person, double occupancy, subject to availability, and may change at any time. Government taxes, transfers, service fees, and other ancillary charges are additional.

When you think of the cost of staying in hotels and traveling around the islands, this is really a bargain way to see a lot of them. If this appeals to you and you want to check out more, click this link.

Free Quizno's Sub Coupon

Update February 27th -- They have reached one million free sub coupons, so the promotion is over. Hope you got one!

Earlier today I posted a link to get a free Quizno's Sammie by signing up for their on-line club. Well, Quizno's also has an offer right now where they're giving away a million free subs! You just register on-line and they e-mail you a link to print out a coupon for your own free sub. They're at about 161,000 so far, so people are signing up fast -- if this interests you, I'd do it quick.

Signing up enrolls you in their Qclub that sends you further information and promotions (as did the earlier offer for the free Sammie). But if you want to avoid getting their e-mails, you can always opt out of that club afterwards.

If you want to do this free sub and the Sammie offer too, I'd do this one first since it's time- limited, and then opt out to join the club again for the free Sammie.

A free submarine sandwich -- never a bad thing!

To register your name and e-mail address, go to this link.

Free Arby's Roast Burger™ with Any Drink Purchase

Looking to pick up some fast food at a nice price? Here's a coupon you can print out for a free Roast Burger™ with any drink purchase at Arby's. The coupon's valid until March 9th at participating locations.

This is for a "Roast Burger™" (oven roasted thinly sliced beef) -- not the regular Roast Beef Sandwich. From what I understand, this is a new sandwich offering, and not necessarily sold at every single Arby's yet but most of them probably have it available.

To get your coupon and print it out, click this link.

Ink Cartridge Promo Code at Newegg - 20%-40% Off

Everyone knows that one of the biggest expenses of home computing is printer ink -- over the course of time, you spend more on ink than you probably did for the printer. Well, right now, there's a promo code at Newegg.com that reduces prices on a large selection of ink cartridges by 40% and others by 20%.

I was just able to stock up on a full set of refills for my Canon printer for about 35% less than I would pay at a local Staples, even after adding in the few bucks for shipping.

The promo code is EMCLNMX22 and it's valid for a limited time (they don't specify). So if you want to stock up on a refill, this might be a good time.

Among some of the cartridges which are getting 40%:
- Canon CLI-8Y, CLI-8M, CLI-8C, CLI-8Bk (or the CLI-8 Four Pack with all 4)
- Canon PGI-5Bk
- Canon BCI-3eBk
- Canon BCI-6Y, BCI-6M, BCI-6C
- HP C9351AN Black
- HP 51604A Black
- HP 88 C9396AN Black
- HP C9319FN#140 Black 56 Twinpack
- HP C6578AN 3 Colors
- HP CB435A Black
Laser Toner Cartridges:
- HP Q6000A Black
- HP Q2612A Black
- HP C7115X Black
- HP Q6001A Cyan, Q6002A Yellow, HP Q6003A Magenta
- HP Q5949X Black
- HP Q6470A Black
- HP Q7553X Black
- Brother TN360
- Brother TN-550 Black
- Brother TN115BK Black
- Brother TN115M Magenta, TN115C Cyan, TN115Y Yellow

On the pages for these they still show 20% with the promo code, but once you add them to your cart and apply the code, 40% is coming off.

There are many other ink cartridges also available where the code discount is just the 20%. The best thing I can suggest is seeing what cartridge your printer takes, looking for it at Newegg and seeing what discount gets applied.

Shipping on a single cartridge is $2.99 -- it may go up if you add a second cartridge to the order. It doesn't always follow the same pattern. I was able to buy the PGI-5Bk and the CLI-8 four-pack on the same order and get it all shipped for $2.99. But trying the BCI-3eBk and adding any of the BCI-6 colors raised the shipping price higher.

By the way, if you want to save a little bit more, don't forget to use ebates as a portal to get to Newegg. You'll get back another 2% into your ebates account. If you're not a member of ebates, scroll down the left column of the blog for an easy link to sign up and save more on your on-line shopping.

Hitachi Miter Saw Plus Orbital Sander $99.99

Looking for some tools for those projects you're going to start in the Spring? Right now, amazon.com is selling the Hitachi 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw for $99.99, 62% off the retail price of $263.34. But on top of that, there's a terrific extra offer -- a mail-in rebate for a free Hitachi SV13YB 2-amp Random Orbit Sander.

Considering that the sander alone would cost you $65 or more shopping around the internet (it's just over $70 at amazon), this combination deal is really an awesome tool savings offer.

The miter saw has a powerful 15-amp motor and large table for increased material stability. It has thumb-actuated positive stops and adjustable pivot fence. The saw can cut from a 0-52 degree miter angle range, to the right and left for increased flexibility, as well as a 0-48 degree bevel range. Large extended flip fence raises to 4" for cutting crown molding vertically. It features a horizontal handle with soft, Elastomer grip to add comfort and control. Carbon brush access, allows user to replace brush as needed, plus Dust collector attachment.

The extra-tool rebate is valid for purchases until March 31st.

The orbital sander is a single-speed unit delivering 230 watts from the powerful 2 amp motor, and produces a no-load speed of 12,000 rpm. Operation is guaranteed to be smooth and precise with the all ball bearing construction, while the soft Elastomer grip reduces vibration and provides a comfortable hold. Hitachi has also incorporated a pad control system to maintain speed and minimize gouges. This model uses 8-hole hook-and-loop sandpaper, and it includes a 5-inch sanding paper, dust bag, and five 120-grit sanding discs.

All this for under $100! It will really add to the range of jobs you can accomplish around the house.

It would make a great gift for that handyman too.

To check it out (I'd do it soon as this deal may sell out or the price may change soon) click the link below.

Explore Cairns and The Great Barrier Reef Plus a Free Bonus Destination in Australia -- $898 from LA or SF, $1098 from JFK

If you're going to travel all the way to Australia, wouldn't you want the adventure to include seeing The Great Barrier Reef? Right now, Qantas is offering a special deal that lets you fly to Cairns (the gateway to the Tropical North), but also includes a bonus flight to another destination in Australia or new Zealand.

For a limited time, they're offering the opportunity to see more of Australia or New Zealand when you visit the Tropical North. They include a bonus flight at no additional cost -- add Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Auckland to your Cairns itinerary.

The fares are already quite nice for a trip to Australia, but adding on the bonus destination makes it even more enticing. From San Francisco or Los Angeles, the fare is $449 each way. From JFK airport in New York, it's $549. So you could get $898 roundtrip from the west coast or $1098 from the east. Their site also has prices from other U.S. cities if you need to fly to one of those departure points.

These prices don't include security and airport fees and taxes. These fares are valid for travel between May 1st and September 21st. Tickets must be purchased by February 27th.

Cairns is the perfect base for venturing out to the World-Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest. For adventure-, nature- and eco-enthusiasts, there's a lot to explore in the Tropical North, and this may be a chance to make your adventure come true. Plus you get to do some more exploration of another great destination down under at the same low airfare. To read more about this deal and search for tickets, click this link.

Amazon.com Grocery Clearance Plus Extra 40% Off Code

I've written before about the advantages of buying some grocery items in bulk at amazon when the deals are right -- I've found great deals on soap and coffee among other things. Right now they have a clearance sale in their grocery section, and along with that a coupon code that reduces prices another 40%. So the savings can really stack up nicely.

The code is FBCLEVNT and it's valid until March 6th. But in the past, I've noticed that many items sell out before an event is over, so if you want to check out their biggest selection you may want to check it out quickly.

As a couple of examples, Reese artichoke hearts which retail for almost $4.00 a can, can be yours for $20.05 for twelve cans after the clearance price and code are applied, bringing the cost down to $1.67 a can. Bear Naked All-Natural Granola Snack Packs, Peak Protein, which are usually $2.00 for a two-ounce pouch, drops to $11.26 for twelve pouches, or under a dollar apiece. Genisoy Soy Crisps, which usually costs about $3.39 a bag, are available at $16.61 for twelve bags, or about $1.39 a bag.

Even some gourmet pet food can be had at a nice price. Newman's Own® Organics Advanced Cat Dry Formula, which originally is $16.59 for a 48-ounce bag, comes down to $17.00 for two 48-ounce bags after discount and code, meaning you can feed this to your cat for just $8.50 a bag. They also have dog food available, Newman's Own® Organics Adult Dog Food Chicken & Rice Formula, 4 Pound bag, normally costs $13.00 a bag, but buying three bags after the code and clearance gets a final total of $19.50 for three bags, or $6.50 a bag.

Realize that you're buying in bulk, so shelf-time may be a factor. You should look at eating habits, size of family, type of products etc. to make sure you're going to be able to use the amount of product. But there's a wide variety available, and you may find some items where your grocery savings add up.

To see their grocery clearance selections, click this link. And remember to apply the promo code during checkout.

Hey, it's free -- isn't that always a nice price? To get your download, click the link below.

Travel Out West: Frontier Airlines Two-Day Sale from $84 Roundtrip

Looking to travel to or within the Western U.S.? Travelocity is showing some great fares being offered today and tomorrow on Frontier. There's a fare as low as $84 roundtrip from Colorado Springs to Denver. Denver-Omaha is just $104 roundtrip, Phoenix-Denver is $124 and Philadelphia-Denver is at $204.

As usual, airport and security fees are in addition to these fare prices.

But it's not all about Denver, there are fares to/from cities all over the west, so if you live west of the Mississippi or plan to travel there, this may be worth a bit of looking around.

Travel is valid through June 3rd and requires a ten-day advance purchase but no later than February 18th. The special fare prices are valid for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and there are some blackout dates.

But if some air travel out west is in the offing, this may be a way to spend a bit less. To check out these deals, click 2-Day Sale: Bargain fares from $84 roundtrip on Frontier Airlines.

Restaurant.com Promo Code 70% Off -- $25 Dining Certificate for $3!

Well, restaurant.com, one of the more popular sites for readers of my blog, has just unleashed a promo code that ups the savings even more. For the next four days, you can get a huge 70% off the already-discounted gift certificates they offer at thousands of restaurants around the country. So a $25 dining certificate costs you just $3! A $10 certificate drops in price all the way to 90¢!

The promo code is also available on their dinner-of-the-month club, a wonderful gift idea so the recipient can choose their favorite participating restaurants at which to dine.

The code to apply during checkout is PREZ, and it expires Thursday, February 19th.

These certificates are really a great way to stretch your dining dollars, so maybe you can still go out and try that new restaurant or visit an old favorite a bit more often. For those of you unfamiliar with restaurant.com, they have about 7,000 restaurants participating, and the certificates come with some easily achievable minimums, such as a minimum $35 check to apply a $25 certificate, or a minimum of 2 dinner entrees, etc. (the restrictions vary for each restaurant so check before buying).

But if you add up using a $25 certificate on a $35 check, you end up paying $10 at the restaurant, $3 for the certificate, so the meal ends up costing you just $13. You should still tip on the pre-certificate total, of course, to be fair to your server (some restaurants add a tip onto the check).

To shop for restaurants and get this great 70% offer, click the box below and remember to enter PREZ at checkout and then hit the 'apply' key.

Your taste buds and wallet will thank you!
