Bennigan's Cash Crunch Lunch Offer - Ten Menu Choices Plus Beverage, at $4.99

If you have a Bennigan's near your place of work and want to save a bit on lunch, here's an offer that they'll be running until June 16th, from 11am to 2pm: the Cash Crunch Lunch. They have ten lunch choices, some with fries and others with soup that you can get for just $4.99, with a soft drink included.

The choices run the gamut from a half-pound Angus cheeseburger with fries, to charbroiled chicken with rice pilaf and broccoli, to a Caesar salad plus a crock of soup. All of them include your choice of a fountain drink, iced tea, coffee or bottled water.

The sandwiches that come with fries include:
- The American Burger: the aforementioned half-pound Angus burger
- Grilled Chicken Club: chicken breast topped with bacon, swiss and slices of avocado.
- Turkey O' Toole: turkey breast, melted swiss cheese and honey dijon on a pretzel roll
- Monte Cristo: ham and turkey, swiss and american cheese on wheat bread, battered and fried. Dusted with powdered sugar and served with red raspberry preserves for dipping.

The following sandwiches come with a soup (soups include tomato basil, French onion and maybe a potato soup):
- Turkey Deli Sandwich - turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheddar on wheat berry bread.
- Irish Grilled Cheese - Irish cheddar and provolone cheeses melted on wheat berry bread.

Other lunch choices include:
- Golden Chicken Tenders with french fries and honey dijon dip
- Kilkenney's Grilled Chicken Salad - Grilled chicken over garden greens, diced eggs, shredded colby, tomatoes, bacon with honey dijon dressing
- Soup and Salad Comb0 - choice of garden salad or Caesar salad and a crock of soup
- Chicken Platter Lunch - fajita-marinated chicken breast charbroiled over an open flame, served with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli

Prices may vary by location (I would imagine they might be higher in places like New York City), but they still might be better than running into that fast food joint and better than you'll find in most other restaurants. At the very least it may be an option for a decent lunch without breaking the bank.
