I came across a link to a free download of 23 tracks of music downloadable for free from iTunes courtesy of Urban Outfitters. In taking a look at the site, there were four earlier groups of downloadable tunes available. The earlier ones don't seem to be through iTunes, but just as a direct download as zip files. Still, if you download and unzip them all, you could end up with over 100 songs to add to your music collection for free.
On the latest batch (the one through iTunes), some of the artists and songs include:
- Luke Top: Friends
- Grizzly Bear: Cheerleader
- Jeremy Jay: In This Lonely Town
- The Big Pink: Velvet
- Amazing Baby: Headdress
