A couple of days ago I posted about a free download of an audio-book version of "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." That was from audible.com, and most books you find there have a fee to download. Well, for those of you interested in more audio-books that you can get for free, you may want to check out LibriVox.
This is an organization that is recording and making available for free download books that are in the public domain. So while you may not get the latest bestseller this way, you can pick up interesting books on lots of subjects, both fiction and nonfiction, downloadable so you can listen on your PC or MP3 player.
They have a very extensive catalog, and you can search by title or author. And if you want to search a bit more specifically, you can click on 'more search options' and be able to find results based on poetry, dramatic, nonfiction, fiction, or by language, genre and more.
For people who enjoy audio-books to make their drive pass a bit more enjoyably, or who need them if visual reading is difficult, this is a great free site.
