I guess Fry's really wants to help people make sure their computers are secure. Right on the heels of the Kaspersky free-after-rebate software I posted, here is another make of internet protection software you can get free after a mail-in rebate. This one is from Panda, their Internet Security 2010 (3 User). Fry's is selling it for $40.00, with a $40.00 mail-in rebate good for purchases until October 29th. This is shipped free, so except for the cost of a stamp, your final net comes down to zero.
This one is also noted as Windows 7 compatible, and the site claims that thanks to the new Collective Intelligence technology, this software is now much faster than previous versions.
