Toy's 'R' Us® Sale on Board Games Plus Hasbro® Mail-In Rebate Savings -- As Low as $1.99 After Rebate -- Plus $10 Gift Card w/ $25 Purchase

If you are looking for some board games to promote spending family time together, you may want to check out this week's sale at Toys 'R' Us®. They have cut the prices on a wide variety of board games. And many of the ones on sale are also eligible for a mail-in rebate from Hasbro®. Between the sale, some games are priced as low as $1.99 after rebate. Those start at as much as $9.99 originally, so you are netting up to 80% off.

There are twenty-six games eligible for rebates, and you could get up to $69.00 back -- it's limited to one rebate per game, and one rebate check per household. What's nice is that you don't have to cut out UPC codes for this, so you can give them as gifts and they won't be defaced.

The rebate submission requires the original register receipts (not gift receipts) -- not all the purchases have to be on the same purchase receipt if you go back and buy more later. But you have to put them all on one rebate form together, not multiple submissions. The rebate is good for purchases made by January 31st, 2010.

With these savings you could probably pick up an extra few games for Toys for Tots or some similar programs.

The following games have been reduced to $3.99 this week, and each would get you a $2.00 rebate so the net would be $1.99 after rebate:

- Ants in the Pants

- Memory (various editions such as Spider Man, Disney Princess, Pooh, Starwberry Shortcake or Original Memory game -- you can get just one rebate for one version not for each one of these Memory titles)

There are a lot of other games on sale and on the rebate form, such as Monopoly, Sorry, Jenga, Twister, Battleship, Operation, Connect 4, Trouble, Scrabble and more. You can search for those titles using the search at the Toys 'R' Us® website. Just use the rebate form as a reference for the titles to check.
