McAfee Internet Security 2010 (3 User) Free After Competitve/Upgrade Rebate

If you've been reading my blog for any time, you know I think software that's free after rebate is a nice way to save. And the one area where you should always be able to save is on Internet protection software. If you time your purchases to take advantage of rebate offers, you should never have to pay for a renewal of the software protection after the free first year. Right now is one of those times. As long as you are using some sort of Internet protection, whether McAfee, Norton, Webroot, Computer Associates etc., you can get the latest McAfee software free after a pair of rebates.

This is McAfee Internet Security 2010, licensed for up to three users, meaning you can protect your PC and the kids'. Fry is selling it for $64.99, including free shipping. There is a basic rebate of $35.00 as well as a competitive/upgrade rebate of $30.00 (for owners of McAfee or a competitor's product). So after the rebates you'll have gotten the software free.

The rebates are good for purchases made through January 21st.
