Now through September 10th, you can get a free download of a full album from the Vancouver Sun. You don't have to be a subscriber or pay for anything, just submit an e-mail address -- to avoid any possible spam clogging your main e-mail, I'd register with a secondary free e-mail account like Hotmail or Yahoo (I'm not saying they will send spam, I just always think it's safer to use a secondary e-mail address for commercial stuff).
The link is here.
The album is a compilation of various artists, including Sarah McLachlan and Barenaked Ladies. Here's a list of the songs/artists:
Sarah McLachlan - "Afterglow" (Live)
Barenaked Ladies - "Wind It Up"
The Weepies - "Gotta Have You"
Leigh Nash - "Ocean Size Love"
Josh Rouse - "Hollywood Bass Player"
Uh Huh Her - "Say So"
Great Lake Swimmers - "Your Rocky Spine"
Fauxilage - "Rafe" (Gabin Remix)
The Be Good Tanyas - "Ootischenia'
The Perishers - "Victorious"
Datarock - "Fa Fa Fa"
Moev - "Yeah Whatever"
The Format - "She doesn't Get It"
Barenaked Ladies - "Home" (Live)
The Water Walk - "Turn Your Face Away"
Even if you don't know or don't like all the songs, you can delete whatever and add to your music collection for free... and free is good.
