If you are looking for some new tires for your car or truck, shopping early this week may save you a bit. Per an e-mail from Discount Tire (a.k.a. America's Tire depending on your state of residence), they will be offering an across-the-board $100 mail-in rebate for purchases of four tires from September 28th through 30th. This appears much better than their usual offers of $40-$50 in rebates only for certain brands.
The rebate offer isn't posted on their website yet, but if you were shopping around this weekend, it might be worth waiting a couple of days.
