American Airlines has announced a fare sale on many domestic routes, with low prices available for travel through January 27th, 2010 -- some dates around holidays are blacked out. Fares are as low as $44 each way, and lots of departure and destination choices are available.
Some examples include:
- Milwaukee-St. Louis: $44
- Philadelphia-Miami: $69
- Columbus-Boston: $74
- Raleigh-Chicago: $79
- New York-Miami: $84
- Chicago-Miami: $89
- Minneapolis-Dallas: $94
- Dallas-Baltimore: $99
The fares shown don't include those airport and security fees which get tacked on.
The sale page at American doesn't show an expiration date for these prices; not sure if that's an oversight or if they're available till a certain number of seats sell out. The lowest fares are for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Blackout dates are November 25 and 28, December 19, 22-23, 26, 29-30, and January 2.
