Samsung 42" Plasma TV $995 + Free Shipping

Frys.com is offering a deal on the Samsung HPT4254 42" plasma TV for $995 and it will be shipped free (original retail is $1,499). I haven't posted too many deals on TVs because there are so many brands and so many variables, but this TV has gotten very good customer reviews at cnet.com, and Fry's price is a couple of hundred less than available anywhere else.

One think I note is that this is a 720p resolution, and higher-end plasma TVs have 1080p resolutions, but of course you pay for that. But for this level of TV, the users seem to rate it well, and its specs compare favorably to other TVs at the 720p level. If you're not looking to spend an arm and a leg and want a TV, this may be worth researching. And I sincerely suggest doing your research on purchases like these.
