If you're one of my readers from Seattle or nearby, here's one that may make you sit up and notice: $248 for roundtrip airfare from Seattle to Honolulu Hawaii!
That's the airfare being offered by Hawaiian Airlines as part of their Colors of Autumn promotion. There are nice fares from other cities as well, but the Seattle price jumps off the page...

The fare is good for travel through March 14th of next year, with some blackout dates, and you have to add airport security fees but still, that's got to be an attractive way to escape the coming winter rains, no?
