If you'd like to check out a nice selection of books on closeout that are all available for the low price of $1.00, you may want to hop on over to BookCloseouts.com. For the month of August they've put almost a thousand (okay, it's 982 right now) books on their site at a price of $1.00.
They have books available in all sorts of categories and topics. In doing a quick glance through Sports books, I found a nice bunch about Golfing if that's your thing. They have a bunch on Travel, but I'd check the publication date on those since travel guides have time-sensitive information. They have children's books, books on health, fitness and spirituality, cooking, biographies and fiction as well.
Trying to look through all 982 would be daunting, but the site allows you to refine your search by types of book, authors etc.
Their shipping charges seem reasonable, with standard postal shipping quoted as $3.25 for one book, and going up only to $3.65 if I was ordering four books.
