Broadway shows are throwing open their doors to the next generation of theatregoers by inviting kids to see a show for free! Kids age 6-18 can attend a participating show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Kids' Night on Broadway® is now monthly and takes place on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month.
There are a nice variety of Broadway and off-Broadway shows that are participating. The next dates are April 7th and 8th, and May 5th and 6th. Plus, kids get to participate in pre-show educational programs. Restaurant and parking discounts make this a great event for the entire family.
Some of the shows offering tickets in April or May include: Mamma Mia, Shrek: The Musical, The 39 Steps, In the Heights, The Norman Conquest, Chicago and more. To get all the details, you can visit kidsnightonbroadway.com. If you see something you like, just click on the link for that show to get more info and order your tickets. You'll be ordering your tickets through Telecharge, so there are service fees added to the cost of the tickets.
This could be a great chance to introduce that youngster to the fun of live theatre while saving a bit of cash in your own pocket.
