New York - Detroit $20 Roundtrip on Certain Dates in March (Or $2 Roundtrip If You Join Spirit's $9 Fare Club)

If you're in New York and want to visit someone in Detroit, or vice versa, here's a deal worth checking out. On select dates in March, Spirit Airlines is offering one-way fares between those two cities for just $10.00! Or, if you are a member of their $9 Fare Club, the one-way fare is just $1.00!!

The dates are as follows:
- New York (LaGuardia) to Detroit: 3/17, 3/18, 3/25, 3/26, 3/30, 3/31
- Detroit to New York: 3/16, 3/18, 3/19, 3/29, 3/30, 3/31

If you're able to pair up the dates coming and going, you could score a $20.00 roundtrip (or even lower, $2.00 for Club members).

They also have some other fare specials between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando or Tampa, or between Fort Lauderdale and Freeport in the Bahamas or Medellin in Colombia. The dates vary for each destination.

These special fares must be booked no later than 11:59 p.m. March 4th. Prices don't include the usual airport and security fees etc. which get tacked onto all published airfares.

If the destinations are right for you, this may be a way to save some big bucks on travel -- or maybe take advantage and visit someone you haven't seen in a while without blowing up your budget.
