Lake Tahoe Resort -- Premium Room $59 a Night (Sundays through Thursdays)

Lake Tahoe makes a great escape from the West Coast and there's still plenty of time to get in some great skiing. And if you can stay at a terrific resort at discounted rates... well, that seems to add up to a great deal. The MontBleu Resort is offering a special of $59 per night from Sundays through Thursdays, which is over half-off their usual rates. AND in the process they're throwing in a free upgrade to a premium room, which would normally cost an extra $30.

The special $59 is valid until May 22nd, with just April 11th and 12th excluded. If you want to stay over a Friday or Saturday night, those nights are available for $129 (still below their regular charges). The deadline for making reservations at these discounted prices is April 2nd.

The Montbleu (formerly Caesar's Tahoe) has six restaurants, six bars/lounges, a renovated casino and poker room, spa, indoor pool and a Jacuzzi. All Premium Rooms feature an in-room Jacuzzi and Aveda bath products.
