Sansa Recertified MP3 Players - 1GB $13.99, 2GB 19.99

So you want to pick up an MP3 player but aren't so sure that you want to get a top-of-the-line item like an iPod or a Zune? Maybe there's a youngster who wants to listen to music and they are prone to losing things so you want to let them have one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The two units on sale at Buy.com right now are recertified, but for these low prices I figured they were worth posting and you could decide whether to take a flyer. They have the Sansa C140 (1GB) on sale for $13.99 and the C150 (2GB) for $19.99. Each of these has an MP3 player, FM receiver and voice recorder built in.

In addition to playing music recordings, these are able to play Audible files if you want to use them for audio-book purposes.

There are a lot of reviews shown for the 1GB unit, most of them overwhelmingly positive. The 2GB one has only one review and that one just complains a bit because it uses AAA batteries, not about the functionality -- I would figure the 1GB and 2GB are basically similar with just a difference in memory.
