Update July 28 -- Wow, Amazon changes their prices quickly! When I posted this last night, they were selling this high-speed 2GB card for $25.20 ($5.20 after rebate). If you were able to buy one at that price, terrific, because this morning it's moved up to $32.95, making the post-rebate net $12.95. Still a decent price but not as good as the $5.20 net when I originally posted.
A 2GB card gives you a lot of capacity for digital photos or tons of music, and getting one with high-speed of data transfer is a nice feature. How about a price of $5.20 after rebate with free shipping in the bargain? That's available now at amazon.com, on the Kingston Technology 2GB Secure Digital Ultimate Memory Card which has a speed of 120x.
They're selling this card from one of the top name brands of memory devices for $25.20 -- and since it's over $25.00 it qualifies for free budget shipping. There's a $20.00 mail-in rebate on the amazon website for orders placed by July 31st. So that brings the final net cost down to $5.20.
For 2GB of powerful, quick memory, that's not a lot to spend. To check it out, here's a link: Kingston Technology 2 GB SecureDigital Ultimate Memory Card (SD/2GB-U, Retail Package)
