If you're looking for some autumn (or even early winter) travel, you might want to do some checking at American Airlines. They've announced a sale on airfares, with some of the following routes on sale:
Pittsburgh - New York (JFK) $59 roundtrip
Charlotte - New York (JFK) $59 roundtrip
Milwaukee - Washington, DC $69 roundtrip
Atlanta - St. Louis $84 roundtrip
Airport and security fees are in addition to these airfares. Travel is valid through January 28, 2009, with the following blackouts: November 22, 2008, November 25-26, 2008, November 29-December 1, 2008, and December 18, 2008-January 5, 2009. Lowest sale prices are for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and tickets must be purchased at least 10 days before departure.
They have tons of other routes on special, so if you have any travel plans coming up, click this link and see if American can fit the bill.
