Great Deal to Join Spirit Airline's $9 Fare Club -- Bonus $40 Voucher

If you've read my blog for some time, you know I've written about Spirit Airlines a few times. They regualrly have promotions with some amazing airfares available. In fact, one of the reasons I started my blog was that friends enjoyed hearing how my wife and I flew roundtrip on Spirit from Atlantic City to Las Vegas for just two cents! (plus taxes/airport fees)

Their best fares are available to members of their $9 Fare Club. And right now till January 31st, they have a promotion going on that gives you a $40 voucher toward a future flight for joining the club. Annual membership is $39.95, so it's as if they're giving you back the membership fee as long as you book one fare.the chance to get a great fare down the line.

About three or four times a month they come out with promotional airfares good for specific routes and specific dates -- they have $9 flights each way from some cities but there are times when some routes are $1 each way or even less. Those flights are available to non-club members but at higher cost, so having a membership gets you the best price (a single roundtrip saves you the cost of an annual membership).

For people who live in/near Fort Lauderdale or Myrtle Beach, the flight choices are so many that it's almost a no-brainer to take advantage of this offer. For people in Boston, New York, Atlantic City or Washington DC who like to go to Florida or Myrtle Beach with any frequency it's also something tyhat could let you take trips more often at a bargain. The same for people in Detroit who like to go to Florida, New York or Los Angeles.

The promotion is fairly easy, just register your email address at their website before 11:59 PM EST on 1/31/2009. Then enroll in an annual $9 Fare Club membership using the same email address before 11:59 PM EST on 1/31/2009. On or about 4/1/2009, for those who qualify for the promotion, Spirit will send a $40.00 voucher to the email address used to register.
