It's a great day for airfare shopping. On the heels of the Southwest and Frontier offers I posted, Spirit Airlines is having another one of their special promos with fares slashed to absurd levels for their $9 fare Club Members on specified dates.
Members are able to fly on certain routes for as little as $3.00 each way, so if you can get the dates to match up, you could get a roundtrip ticket for $6.00 (plus the typical security/airport fees/taxes).
These special deals have to be booked by 11:59 p.m Eastern time on July 8th.
Membership in their club runs $39.95 annually, so you can make that up in one roundtrip and then avail yourself of a great selection of fare specials all year long.

- Detroit and New York City: $3.00
- Detroit and Fort Lauderdale: $3.00
