Free Bus Trips! YES! FREE!!! Hurry before they're gone!

Not much beats FREE when it comes to travel. Megabus, a new bus line, is giving away 100,000 free trips on its buses to the first people who reserve trips... no kidding! You use the promo code WIN2008 on the reservation page to try and get one of the free deals.

For travel January 16th until March 11th, they will provide fares of ZERO to the first people who book on various routes. But once the free route tickets are sold, they'll still offer big discounts for other seats on those routes starting at $1 each way...

They serve a number of major U.S. cities, including Ann Arbor, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Millbrae, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Normal, Oakland, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, San Ysidro, St. Louis, Tempe and Toledo.

Megabus was based in Scotland and expanded into the U.S. recently. Their buses feature air conditioning (OK, maybe not that big a deal in winter), bathrooms, reclining seats and express service to each specified destination.

Just to see if this is for real (I don't live near these cities so I couldn't get this for myself) I tried to book San Jose to Los Angeles going on January 30 and returning February 7th. The fare actually came back as ZERO!

I'm sure word of this will spread quickly, so if you want to see if you can book a free trip, visit Megabus post haste! You can book up to 45 days before travel, so some of the February and March dates wouldn't be something you could reserve for now... so save this code if you want to take a trip more than 45 days from now.

Here's a link, and don't forget to use the code WIN2008.
