The basic deal at restaurant.com is the ability to buy a dining certificate at a bargain price. Everybody wins, since the restaurant gets new business (and hopefully a continuing customer) and you get to save a good amount on the check. Many participating restaurants have certificates good for $25 worth of dining credit that normally cost $10 at restaurant.com (some have $10 certificates for $3).
