With airfares to Europe, many of the best prices are for flights from the East Coast, so when you find an offering that includes nice prices from the West Coast, those might make you sit up and notice.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines is offering its special fares to Europe for booking by midnight, December 21st (Friday) for travel that must be completed by March 13th. Some of the fares from New York and Chicago are $466 and up, but Seattle-Copenhagen is just $516 roundtrip. There are some other cities from Seattle in that price range and others for $578.
Considering the extra distance to Europe, paying just $50 more roundtrip from Seattle seems like a nice deal.
The prices don't include the security and airport fees (but advertised prices never do).
If Europe is in your plans for a winter vacation click here to sample the fares.
