Looking for a great escape to some beautiful beaches? USA3000 Airlines has announced some discount fares to Cancun, Mexico, and to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They have $99 fares available in each direction on selected dates. (Airport/security fees and taxes are additional.)
For example, from Philadelphia:
- To Cancun: Aug. 19, 28, 30, 31; Dec. 4, 6, 7, 13
- From Cancun: May 15, 17, 18; June 10; Nov. 1, 2, 6
- To Punta Cana: Aug. 6, 13, 25, 29; Dec. 5, 8
- From Punta Cana: May 12, 16; June 11; Nov. 3, 7
So it doesn't look like you can pair up dates to get $99 each way, but you might still be able to find dates with decent fares for the other direction and get a nice deal on a roundtrip. Some dates have fares at $139.
Their website also offers some packages with hotel/airfare combinations for specific dates.
I flew USA3000 to Florida last year and was pleased with their performance.
