Looking to spend some of the Spring in Europe? Air France has unleashed some sale airfares that might make that dream a little easier to come true. They have special prices for departures through May 20th -- the lowest fares are for mid-week travel. France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ireland and more, are on sale for a limited-time.
You are allowed one free stopover in Paris in each direction, which means that if you fly elsewhere than Paris, you can take your connecting flight several days later at no extra charge. It´s like two vacations for the price of one.
Here are some examples of the great one-way fares available:
New York - Dublin: $110
Houston - Hanover: $180
Boston - Madrid: $192
Chicago - Milan: $204
Houston - Paris: $214
Los Angeles - Madrid $226
Los Angeles - Paris: $237
Los Angeles - Nice: $237
Some nice prices, no? But throwing in the Paris stopover bonus makes it even nicer. You get Paris and Madrid from LA for less than the price of LA to Paris alone. If you dig around, you can probably find all sorts of ways to find a departure city that would be less than flying just to Paris, so the second city becomes like a bonus.
The prices shown do not include the security and airport fees. Tickets must be purchased by April 15th, and require a 7 day advance purchase. Fares are valid for departures through May 20, 2009. A minimum Sunday night stay is required and a maximum one-month stay is permitted. There is an additional $20-$30 weekend surcharge each way. Fares are non-refundable.
So if Europe is a wish you've had, check out whether you can make it happen this Spring. To shop for your dates, departure and destination (plus Paris), click Low Fares to France and Europe with Air France.
