Fly to Singapore from $800 Total Including Taxes/Fees (LA, SF, Houston) or $888 from New York; Tack On Other Destinations with a $1 Stopover

Looking to travel to exotic Singapore before the end of May? Singapore Airlines is celebrating its 30th anniversary of U.S. service with some very nice fares -- $800 roundtrip including all those security and airport fees and taxes. That fare is available departing from Los Angeles, San Francisco or Houston. For just a bit more, $888, you can travel from New York to Singapore.

It's nice to see an all-inclusive price like this so you see upfront what the trip will cost.

Singapore Airlines is known for the quality of service and comfort. On the site, they indicate the flight from Houston goes via Moscow. I'm not sure what routes are taken from the other three cities.

Singapore Airlines also flies to other cities throughout Asia and they also show some other specials such as Perth at $1,069 from Houston. And the neat thing is that they have an offer for a $1 stopover in Singapore that includes hotel, transfers, admission to attractions, bus rides and a phone card -- the $1 stopover has hotels in the lowest category (A), or you can choose to stopover in a higher category hotel at a slightly higher price (i.e. D category for $40).

Outbound travel to Singapore must begin by May 31st and tickets have to be purchased by April 30th.
