AirTran Sale -- One-Way Fares from $39
Here's yet another airfare sale on top of the ones I posted yesterday. Travelocity is showing a sale on AirTran with one-way fares as low as $39.00.
Obviously the lowest prices are for short-haul trips such as Milwaukee to/from St. Louis, but there are good deals all over the place, such as Miami to/from Philadelphia for $59.00 or San Francisco to/from New York at $119.00.
Their listing has a ton of departure cities so you can check all the sale destinations from your nearest airport(s).
Tickets must be purchased by July 9th and all travel must be completed by November 11th, 2009. A 10-day advance purchase is required. The lowest priced fares are valid for travel Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, although they also have reduced fare prices for Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays too. AirTran Sale -- One-Way Fares from $39
If you have some travel plans along the eastern part of the U.S., now might be a good time to check out AirTran. They have a sale going on with flights between cities on or near the East Coast starting as low as $39.00 each way.
For example, Boston to Baltimore is $39.00, as is Atlanta to Charleston or Charlotte. There are deals involving many departure cities so there are probably more $39.00 combos out there, and many other cities for just a few bucks more.
These prices don't include those airport/security fees and taxes. Tickets have to be purchased by tomorrow, June 4th. Travel is valid through October 30th with the following blackout dates: June 26-28; and July 2, 3, 5 and 6, 2009. The lowest fares are for flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Save $30 on Membership in Clear -- Get Through Airport Security Faster
Getting through airport security has taken some of the fun out of traveling by air, and adding time to the trip and making you fret about missing a flight isn't helpful either. Twenty airports now have special express lines called Clear in which pre-screened registered travelers get to skip the long lines. More airports are expected to be adding this in the coming months.
This service isn't cheap, $199 annually, so it's aimed at people who have occasion to fly frequently and for whom the time savings could really add up. But right now through May 1st, AirTran Airlines is offering a $30 discount on Clear to its A+ Club Members. And since it doesn't cost anything to join that club, you can take advantage of this Clear discount by joining A+ Rewards now.
You need to fill out some information to join Clear, then bring IDs and such to the airport kiosk (where they take fingerprints and scan your iris) and two weeks later they'll send you your Clear Card.
To join AirTrans A+ Rewards Program, click this link. Then once you've joined, click this link to enroll in Clear.

It's available today only, though.

AirTran Sale on Tickets Bought February 29th
AirTran Airways has announced a special sale for tickets bought on Sadie Hawkins Day, good for travel between April 1st and May 7th. Lowest fares are available for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but they have discounts other days as well.
The choices of cities are wide and varied, so you may want to check their list to see what options match up with your travel needs. I found Philadelphia-Houston for $69 each way, which is a pretty nice price compared to usual discount fares.
If you want to see what sale fares might be offered from an airport near you, click this link.
February 29th doesn't come around too often so it's nice when there's an extra celebration like this.
