Article on How People Are Saving Up to $50/Day in Their Budgets
In addition to finding good prices on deals, I know that people are also interested in strategies they can use to save money. It's a good idea at any time, but especially important at times like these. I came across an article by Kiplinger.com via yahoo.com about three families or individuals who adopted a variety of strategies to trim their budgets and ended up saving as much as $50 a day.
There are a variety of ideas, and not all of them would apply to every reader (i.e. mortgage refinancing is only for homeowners in certain circumstances), but there may be a number of strategies mentioned that readers could apply and find some savings.
Rather than paraphrase it, here's a link to the article -- it's probably a five-minute read, and could result in some idea that you could easily adopt in your own circumstances to make your money go further.
