Travelzoo is great in finding some great travel bargains, sometimes to the point that they're too good to resist. Today's e-mail from them has info on an October Transatlantic Cruise for 12 nights starting in England, visiting Portugal and the Azores and then arriving in Florida at a bargain price.
This 12-night NCL Norwegian Sun cruise has inside cabins at $399, and Oceanview at $549. And they each come with shipboard credits, $150 credit for inside and $200 for Oceanview.

These sale prices are good for bookings made by January 15th and is limited to the first 250 cabins.
With the inside rate of $399, it comes out to about $33 a night -- just considering the meals you get on board, try to eat like that usually for $33!

If you want to check some other cruise possibilities, this one is just part of the CruCon Act Now Sale that includes other Transatlantic options, as well as cruises to the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Bermuda, Mexico, and Alaska.

Mediterranean Cruise Roundtrip from Barcelona -- $899 for Balcony Cabin, Plus $50 On-Board Credit and $100 Airfare Credit
Looking to have a European adventure? Right now, Expedia is showing a wonderful deal on the Norwegian Gem, with 7-night Mediterranean cruises as low as $899 for balcony cabins on various sailings in July and August.
On top of the already phenomenal price for a cruise during peak European season, there's also an on-board credit of $50 per cabin, as well as a $100 air credit per passenger for flights to Europe. So those savings really add up. (And when you compare the cost of a cruise to the hotel and food bills you might have, it's a way of having some luxury in Europe at less than you might pay on land.)
The Norwegian Gem is NCL's newest ship, and you'll get to enjoy the Mediterranean grandeur in a stateroom with its own private balcony. The itinerary starts in Barcelona, Spain and visits Valletta, Malta; Naples, Italy; Civitavecchia, Italy; Livorno, Italy; and Cannes, France before returning to Barcelona.
You need to book your cabin by May 12th to get the $100 per person airfare credit to use towards booking flights to Barcelona on Expedia. (After booking the cruise, you receive an e-mail about redeeming the credit. The funds are reimbursed to the credit card used for booking after taking the trip.)
This is a lot less than Mediterranean cruises during peak times have gone for in the past, and with the openness of a balcony view to enjoy, this one may really make it a memorable European adventure.

Right now, Online Vacation Center is offering a 7-night Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise in the Hawaiian Islands for as little as $1,099. Also, if you book by February 28th, they will add in a $75 credit per stateroom to spend on board.
The lowest price is for an inside cabin, but you can upgrade to oceanview for just $100 more and to balcony for just $200 more than oceanview. Sailings are between March 21st and May 30th, roundtrip from Honolulu aboard the Pride of America. The lowest prices are for the sailings of April 25th, May 2nd, May 9th and May 23rd.
The ship departs Honolulu, spends two days in Maui (Kahului), a day in Hilo, one in Kona, and two in Kauai before returning to Honolulu. This 7-night itinerary spends nearly 100 hours in port, allowing you more time to see and do the islands your way. And, with Norwegian's Freestyle Cruising concept, you can enjoy a casual relaxed experience onboard with no formal nights and a choice of restaurants for dinner.
The airfare price included is from Los Angeles, but they have airfares available from other cities as well.
These prices are per person, double occupancy, subject to availability, and may change at any time. Government taxes, transfers, service fees, and other ancillary charges are additional.
When you think of the cost of staying in hotels and traveling around the islands, this is really a bargain way to see a lot of them. If this appeals to you and you want to check out more, click this link.

7-Night Alaska Inside Passage Cruise - Oceanview Cabins from $749
Update June 26th -- They now show a price of $749 for Oceanview on the July 26th sailing, even lower than the original offer. The July 19th sailing is $849.
If an Alaskan cruise is on your list of travel to-do's, Orbitz is listing cruises on Holland America's Statendam ship with oceanview cabins available at $799 for a July 5th sailing and a bit higher for later sailings in July.
The cruises have a 7-night itinerary that depart from Vancouver, travel to Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, cruise Glacier Bay and return you to Vancouver. The price is the same for an inside cabin or oceanview, so why wouldn't you take advantage of the oceanview price and have a bit more time to gaze at the beautiful vistas?
The price includes shipboard accommodations, ocean transportation, entertainment and daily activities, on-board meals and some beverages, port charges and more. It does not include shore excursions, personal expenses, gratuities, or alcoholic beverages. Government fees/taxes are additional.
According to Orbitz:
The Statendam features impeccable service, mouthwatering cuisines, and relaxing nooks and beautiful art displayed thru out the ship.
The intimate reservations-only Pinnacle Grill offers an elegant dining experience with selected cuts of beer, seafood dishes and an extensive wine list.
The Van Gogh Theater is themed after the Dutch artist’s paintings “The Starry Night” and “Irises” and features a computerized fiber optic lighting.
Past guests rave about the beautiful public rooms such as the theatre, Crow's Nest and relaxing Explorer's café.

7-Night Mediterranean Cruise from $699 (Barcelona Roundtrip)
Thinking of a European vacation soon? Want to make it even more spectacular? Why not incorporate a Mediterranean cruise? That way you get to see a few different cities, eat wonderfully, relax when you want, and even save some money on hotel bills (with the dollar/euro where they are, that's not such a bad consideration). Travelocity has an offer on the Norwegian Gem, sailing roundtrip from Barcelona, with rates as low as $699 a person.
The itinerary includes Valetta, Malta; Naples, Italy; Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; Livorno (Florence), Italy; Villefranche (Nice), France; and back to Barcelona.
The $699 price is for the June 22nd sailing, inside cabin. You may want to do an outside cabin, which is also available at a very special price of $849. An $849 rate for an outside cabin is also available on the June 15th sailing.
They have other nice prices throughout the year, including some low-cost oceanview upgrades -- July 20th outside is $1019, just $10 higher than the inside cabin $1009 and August 3rd has just a $30 difference of $1199 compared to $1169.
There's an onboard savings booklet included, although I can't find details on what it includes. But the real savings are already there on the price of the cruise.
So if you'd like to check out whether making your European vacation a cruise event is for you, click here.
Europe and a cruise... what a nice combination!
Alaska 7-Night Cruise Balcony Stateroom $849
All the people I know who've cruised to Alaska rave about the beauty and majesty they see. If you're looking for an Alaskan cruise and want to have a beautiful view, a balcony-view would be nicer than an inside cabin, no? So how about a balcony stateroom at $849 a person? That's 45% off the regular rate. And if you add a third or fourth person to the room they're just $149 each!
All Aboard Travel has this deal, with sailings on the Norwegian Sun May 18th and May 25th. They also have excellent prices for sailings into June. Free travel insurance is included if you book by April 30th.
The Norwegian Sun departs from Vancouver, cruises the Inside Passage, stops at Ketchikan, Juneau, cruises Sawyer Glacier, stops at Skagway and returns through the Inside Passage to Vancouver.
