Travelzoo is great in finding some great travel bargains, sometimes to the point that they're too good to resist. Today's e-mail from them has info on an October Transatlantic Cruise for 12 nights starting in England, visiting Portugal and the Azores and then arriving in Florida at a bargain price.

This 12-night NCL Norwegian Sun cruise has inside cabins at $399, and Oceanview at $549. And they each come with shipboard credits, $150 credit for inside and $200 for Oceanview.

If you want even a nicer shipboard experience, a balcony cabin is $799, still amazingly low for a 12-night vacation.

These sale prices are good for bookings made by January 15th and is limited to the first 250 cabins.

With the inside rate of $399, it comes out to about $33 a night -- just considering the meals you get on board, try to eat like that usually for $33!

This sailing departs from Dover, England, on October 4th and visits Lisbon, Portugal and Ponta Delgada in the Azores before arriving in Port Canaveral, Florida on October 16th.

Well, with the colder weather approaching, there's no better time for warm thoughts of a nice cruise. Right now, Travelocity has a deal showing for a 7-night cruise to Mexico aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines starting as low as $199 -- or just $28 a night. The meals alone would be worth more than that.

That's for an inside cabin, but an oceanview is as little as $249.

The ship is the Norwegian Star and the itinerary is Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Los Angeles. Sailings are available Oct 17th, 24th, 31st; Nov 7th, 14th; Dec 19th; Jan 30th; Mar 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th; Apr 3rd. Some prices vary depending on the dates.

Mediterranean Cruise Roundtrip from Barcelona -- $899 for Balcony Cabin, Plus $50 On-Board Credit and $100 Airfare Credit

Looking to have a European adventure? Right now, Expedia is showing a wonderful deal on the Norwegian Gem, with 7-night Mediterranean cruises as low as $899 for balcony cabins on various sailings in July and August.

On top of the already phenomenal price for a cruise during peak European season, there's also an on-board credit of $50 per cabin, as well as a $100 air credit per passenger for flights to Europe. So those savings really add up. (And when you compare the cost of a cruise to the hotel and food bills you might have, it's a way of having some luxury in Europe at less than you might pay on land.)

The Norwegian Gem is NCL's newest ship, and you'll get to enjoy the Mediterranean grandeur in a stateroom with its own private balcony. The itinerary starts in Barcelona, Spain and visits Valletta, Malta; Naples, Italy; Civitavecchia, Italy; Livorno, Italy; and Cannes, France before returning to Barcelona.

You need to book your cabin by May 12th to get the $100 per person airfare credit to use towards booking flights to Barcelona on Expedia. (After booking the cruise, you receive an e-mail about redeeming the credit. The funds are reimbursed to the credit card used for booking after taking the trip.)

This is a lot less than Mediterranean cruises during peak times have gone for in the past, and with the openness of a balcony view to enjoy, this one may really make it a memorable European adventure.

7-Night Cruise in Hawaii with Roundtrip Airfare from Los Angeles from $1099

Cruses are a wonderful way to enjoy a vacation, and when you can be spending your days in port at one of the world's most exotic destinations, that's all the better. Right now, Online Vacation Center is offering a 7-night Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise in the Hawaiian Islands for as little as $1,099. That price includes roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, so the cruise portion is less than $100 a day.

Also, if you book by February 28th, they will add in a $75 credit per stateroom to spend on board.

The lowest price is for an inside cabin, but you can upgrade to oceanview for just $100 more and to balcony for just $200 more than oceanview. The airfare price included is from Los Angeles, but they have airfares available from other cities as well.

(An inside berth would start at $249, but for that difference you'd want to have the view.) The ship is the Majesty of the Seas and all the September sailings are available now at this price.

Other months have slightly higher prices.

There are two bonuses if you book soon. If you book by July 10th and use a MasterCard, there is a $50 on-board bonus, and for bookings by July 23rd there's a separate $50 on-board credit. Thus if you book before July 10th you can get $100 in on-board bonuses. Not too shabby!

If an Alaskan cruise is on your list of travel to-do's, Orbitz is listing cruises on Holland America's Statendam ship with oceanview cabins available at $799 for a July 5th sailing and a bit higher for later sailings in July.

The cruises have a 7-night itinerary that depart from Vancouver, travel to Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, cruise Glacier Bay and return you to Vancouver. The price is the same for an inside cabin or oceanview, so why wouldn't you take advantage of the oceanview price and have a bit more time to gaze at the beautiful vistas?

The price includes shipboard accommodations, ocean transportation, entertainment and daily activities, on-board meals and some beverages, port charges and more. It does not include shore excursions, personal expenses, gratuities, or alcoholic beverages. Government fees/taxes are additional.

There's an onboard savings booklet included, although I can't find details on what it includes. But the real savings are already there on the price of the cruise.

All the people I know who've cruised to Alaska rave about the beauty and majesty they see.
