iLuv Desktop Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker for iPod -- $34.99 (41% Off)

This one is for people who have a bit of trouble waking up in the morning. (I personally prefer the idea of the flying alarm clock I posted about a week ago, but this is another alternative). Newegg is selling the iLuv Desktop Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker for iPod for $34.99. It retails for $59.99 so you are getting $25.00 off, or 41%.

Shipping is an added $1.99.

This device works with most model iPods (and according to some reviewers it works with iPhones even if the screen shows incompatible device). You dock your iPod so you can wake to your own music -- but here's the kicker. The clock also features a vibrating device you put in the bed or under your pillow to shake you awake. Maybe the shaking will be enought to make a difference on those sleepy mornings.

Samsung ML-2510 Personal Monochrome Laser Printer $49.99

If you are looking to add the speed, crispness and water-resistance of a laser printer to your home printing capabilities, you may want to check out the Samsung ML-2510 Personal Monochrome Laser Printer on sale now at Newegg.com. They are selling it until December 27th for $49.99, reduced from $119.99. They will even ship it to you free (which isn't bad considering the size and weight.

This printer is monochrome, so it won't replace your inkjet to print photos, color charts etc., but for long documents and such, this can be a great printer choice.

Print jobs run at 24 ppm, and thanks to the 1,200 x 600 dpi print resolution, documents will be sharp and professional-looking. It also has a jam-free roller system to ensure that your paper will never bunch up in some dark corner of the printer again. The trim footprint of the ML-2510 makes it a great choice for offices where space is tight: it’ll fit easily on a corner of your desk, on top of the filing cabinet, or on top of your credenza. So you can give your small office a big boost in print quality at a low price.

Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student for Three Users $59.99 at NewEgg after Coupon Code

The price on Office 2007 Home and Student version keeps coming down to more reasonable levels. Some say it's in anticipation of Microsoft issuing Office 2010, which would make sense. But if you're in need of Office 2007 for your home and/or the kids at school, why not take advantage of the dropping prices?

Right now, NewEgg has it for sale at $69.99 with free shipping, which is the same price I posted from Amazon a couple of weeks back. But you can also add coupon code EMCLWNL22 to the order and get an extra $10.00 off, making it $59.99. They also include free shipping to keep this priced nice and low.

Samsung Laser Printer $44.00

if you're looking for the speed of a laser printer at a low price, now might be a good time to look over at Newegg. They are selling the Samsung ML-2510 Personal Monochrome Laser Printer for $54.00. Plus, you can apply coupon code EMCLWLR32 (valid through August 10th) for an additional $10.00 off. They include free shipping on this (not bad for a fairly heavy package) making the final cost delivered $44.00.

The list price is $141.99 so you are saving 69% off retail -- the current price at Amazon.com is $119.99 so the Newegg price is really way down there.

This printer will churn out documents in black & white only at a rate of up to 24 pages per minute, which is well faster than inkjet printers tend to be. So for someone printing loots of documents (college students' term papers?) this can really be a time saver.

16GB Flash Drive $15.99 After Rebate -- Less Than a Dollar a Gig!

It seemed like a few years ago, we were satisfied with a hard drive that had 16GB of memory. Now the sizes of our files has grown so fast that we need more than we would have thought back then. That also extends to flash drives -- with ever more and larger files that we need to move between computers or bring with us when we travel or just have for some back-up, those little drives have become indispensable. If you are looking for one with a nice, big amount of storage with a low bottom-line price, you may want to pop over to Newegg. They are selling the Corsair Flash Voyager 16GB Flash Drive for just $35.99, already a nice price.

But they also have a $20.00 mail-in rebate for purchases until April 15th, making the price just $15.99. They even include free shipping, making this a sweet deal all around.

The drive retails for $49.99, so after all is said and done, you're saving 68%. And you'll have enough memory to last you a long time.

This drive features Corsair's rugged design to keep your data safer in case the drive gets dropped or bumped while it's on the go with you.

To check it out, here's the link to the drive at Newegg.

That's a very nice bottom-line price for four gigs of storage space, letting you back up files, move them between systems, take them on the road or whatever.

Kingston is a well-regarded maker of computer memory devices, and Newegg has always served me well in terms of speed of shipping and quality of merchandise.

Ink Cartridge Promo Code at Newegg - 20%-40% Off

Everyone knows that one of the biggest expenses of home computing is printer ink -- over the course of time, you spend more on ink than you probably did for the printer. Well, right now, there's a promo code at Newegg.com that reduces prices on a large selection of ink cartridges by 40% and others by 20%.

I was just able to stock up on a full set of refills for my Canon printer for about 35% less than I would pay at a local Staples, even after adding in the few bucks for shipping.

The promo code is EMCLNMX22 and it's valid for a limited time (they don't specify). So if you want to stock up on a refill, this might be a good time.

Among some of the cartridges which are getting 40%:
- Canon CLI-8Y, CLI-8M, CLI-8C, CLI-8Bk (or the CLI-8 Four Pack with all 4)
- Canon PGI-5Bk
- Canon BCI-3eBk
- Canon BCI-6Y, BCI-6M, BCI-6C
- HP C9351AN Black
- HP 51604A Black
- HP 88 C9396AN Black
- HP C9319FN#140 Black 56 Twinpack
- HP C6578AN 3 Colors
- HP CB435A Black
Laser Toner Cartridges:
- HP Q6000A Black
- HP Q2612A Black
- HP C7115X Black
- HP Q6001A Cyan, Q6002A Yellow, HP Q6003A Magenta
- HP Q5949X Black
- HP Q6470A Black
- HP Q7553X Black
- Brother TN360
- Brother TN-550 Black
- Brother TN115BK Black
- Brother TN115M Magenta, TN115C Cyan, TN115Y Yellow

On the pages for these they still show 20% with the promo code, but once you add them to your cart and apply the code, 40% is coming off.

There are many other ink cartridges also available where the code discount is just the 20%. The best thing I can suggest is seeing what cartridge your printer takes, looking for it at Newegg and seeing what discount gets applied.

Shipping on a single cartridge is $2.99 -- it may go up if you add a second cartridge to the order. It doesn't always follow the same pattern. I was able to buy the PGI-5Bk and the CLI-8 four-pack on the same order and get it all shipped for $2.99. But trying the BCI-3eBk and adding any of the BCI-6 colors raised the shipping price higher.

By the way, if you want to save a little bit more, don't forget to use ebates as a portal to get to Newegg. You'll get back another 2% into your ebates account. If you're not a member of ebates, scroll down the left column of the blog for an easy link to sign up and save more on your on-line shopping.
