With all the time young kids will have over the summer, parents are sure to need things to keep them not only occupied but really to keep their creative juices going. Coloring books are always a way to have some fun, and when you can get them for free it's a nice little resource to have available. I've posted a couple recently and here's another: the Georgia Peanut Commission is offering free coloring books and recipe booklets.
You can get them just by e-mailing a request to: info@gapeanuts.com. If you prefer to make your request by snail mail, you can send a note to: Georgia Peanut Commission, 110 E. 4th Street, P.O. Box 967, Tifton, GA 31793.
For any teachers reading this blog, the site also talks about free Teachers' Kits for grades K-2 and 3-5 with information about the history of peanuts, nutrition information, ideas for teaching, recipes, activities and songs.
