If you are a teacher of history, civics, social studies etc., or are interested in those topics, you may want to check out a notice at the U.S. Department of State. The Office of the Historian produces videos and curriculum packages on various topics for use in U.S. classrooms. Their most recent recent is "Sports and Diplomacy In the Global Arena."
Other topics available include:
"A Journey Shared: U.S. and China"
"History of Diplomacy"
"Media and Diplomacy"
"Terrorism: A War without Borders"
"Update: A War without Borders"
They also indicate that in 2010 they will issue "Diplomacy and the Environment."
These are free for the asking and available as DVDs or VHS tapes. The sign-up request does ask for your school affiliation but doesn't specify this is for teachers only.
