US Airways Free Silver Status Membership for 90 Days -- Baggage Fees Waived, Priority Check-in/Security, Possible Upgrades to First Class, More

If you travel on US Airways or even think you might later this year, you may want to take advantage of this free promotion. Right now through the end of August, they are offering a free 90-day membership ($200 value) in their Silver Preferred Status of their Dividend Miles program.

There are all sorts of benefits such as waived baggage fees (a savings right there), upgrade possibilities and more, which they extend to Silver members. Taking advantage of these for free might make upcoming flights more comfortable -- and make your airfare purchases go further.

You can even join this now if you're not already a member of their frequent flyer program.

All you have to do is register and they'll give you Silver Preferred status for 90 days. You’ll travel Preferred and enjoy better services and reduced fees -- and it's free for 90 days -- sounds like a no-brainer to me. At the end of your 90-day trial, you may choose whether to keep it, but there's no obligation. Once you register, you’ll be Preferred within 14 days. And, if you qualify during your trial, you’ll keep your Silver Preferred status for the program year.
