Spirit Airlines Flights from $1.00 for $9 Fare Club Members

Spirit Airlines has been on this blog numerous times -- the story of my 2¢ Las Vegas roundtrip was one of the catalysts for my starting this blog. Anyway, they have a sale going on till midnight Saturday (actually 11:59 pm), with some fares as low as $1.00 for members of their $9 Fare Club.

I've written about that club before, which has a membership fee of about $40.00 but entitles you to special fare options throughout the year and pays for itself with the first roundtrip (if the make fares available to non-club members, they are $20.00 higher in each direction.

If you're a member of the club (or if you're traveling some of their itineraries and want to join, they have some $1.00 fares available for certain days of the week for travel September 9, 2009 and October 6, 2009 .

The following city pairs show $1.00 flights on Wednesdays ($9.00 Tuesdays):
Atlantic City to/from Boston
Detroit to/from Myrtle Beach
Fort Lauderdale to/from Atlanta
Fort Lauderdale to/from Orlando
Fort Lauderdale to/from Nassau, Bahamas

Other days of the week have different discount prices listed too, and there are plenty of other itineraries available, none quite as low as these. The fares shown don't include airport/security fees added on.
