Peachtree Accounting has been offered a few times over the past years with a free-after-rebate offer. This is a pretty robust accounting software, and they're out with their 2010 edition. This week, Staples is taking $34.99 off the $199.99 price and selling it for $165.00, then offering a $165.00 rebate. Since it's over $50.00 it qualifies for free Staples shipping too. So after the rebate, your net cost is basically zero (except for sales taxes where applicable and a stamp).
If you happen to have a Staples coupon (i.e. one valid for purchases over $100 or $150) you could even end up getting back more on a rebate than actually leaves your wallet.
