Regular readers of my blog have seen me post noise-canceling headphone deals a few times. I can't imagine traveling without a pair now that I've seen the difference they can make, and they make up part of my "faux first class" kit to make air travel more comfortable and tolerable. Right now, Amazon.com has a nice price on noise-canceling headphones by Philips, selling the HN 110 model for $19.99. It retails for $69.99 so you are getting $50.00 (71%) off.
You would have to add a bit to the order to quality for free super saver shipping ($25.00 minimum) unless you have Amazon Prime (there's still a post under Hot Deals on how to get a free trial of that).
These obviously won't reduce noise as well as Bose® headphones, but then again, unless you travel frequently, it's hard to justify spending $299 to $359 on them. For the more casual traveler, these should do fine and with this deal, the price is hard to pass up.
These feature:
- Frequency Response: 20Hz–20kHz
- Convenient, foldable design
- Ideal for airplane, train and bus use
- Noise canceling feature reduces background noise
- Closed-style, dynamic headphone with 40mm driver
- Neodymium magnet and CCAW voice coils
