Here's a deal I can recommend because I bought one back in July when Daily Steals had it for $2.99, and it's already saved us $45.00 by letting us know a bag we packed would have been over the weight limit for check-in (so we could make some adjustments before we got to the airport).
Today's deal is for the Excalibur 9034 Pro Electronic Luggage Scale -- this time the price is just 99¢. (I guess when they don't sell something out on a day they drop the price a bit the next time it's offered). They also charge shipping of $5.99 so the total delivered comes in at $6.98.
They show it retailing for $29.99 and I checked a couple of other internet sites and was seeing it sell in the range of $17.49 to $19.99 and up. So the Daily Steals price looks quite good.
With the added cost of overweight luggage (particularly if you're flying on a discount airline like Ryan Air), having an accurate measure when you pack is a handy precaution.
